Installation

Installation is a crucial part of the proper functionality and maintenance of your telephone system. CT Solutions takes pride in every installation that we do. Much time is spent on the planning of the installation so that it properly reflects the work ethic that we have. If the system is installed in an organized, well thought through manner every time and with the utmost attention to detail, then every technician that follows the installers has no questions as to the layout of each system. CT Solutions installers have developed an installation method that has been successful for many years and hundreds of installations. We take digital photos of every installation to keep on file to ensure a standard installation process.
The Installation Department will coordinate the installation of all new systems. A customer service representative will meet with new customers to collect information and help with the design of their system. From the information gathered a database is written and passed on to the technician who is heading up the installation. That technician will then do a site survey of the customer’s office in order to eliminate any surprises on installation day, and to address any environmental concerns. The system is then built and preprogrammed and given a burn-in period to ensure stability. After the installation a technician is on site along with the customer service representative who will be training all of the users on how to use the new telephones and voicemail. A technician remains on site until the customer is confident with the new system’s configuration and stability.

Training

Complete training of all end users is included as part of the installation of any new system. This includes instruction on the proper operation of telephone sets and voice mail. Training can be done with pre installation classes using non working telephone sets, and then post installation one on one instruction as needed in the days immediately following the installation. Also, post installation classes can be held walking each user through telephone use and mailbox set up on the new working system. Each class usually includes about ten to twelve users and will normally take about thirty minutes. CT Solutions is very flexible with training on any new system, and will tailor our style to suit each customers needs.

Service

The Service Department handles all calls for any system failures, whether it is as small as a single telephone or as large as an entire system down. CT Solutions response times on system failures are as follows:

4 hours on any major system failure

24 hours on any minor system failure

Major system failure is defined as when at least 50% of the system’s phones or at least 50% of the system’s lines are not functioning. A down voice mail system is also considered a major system failure.
The service department has a technician on call twenty four hours per day, seven days per week, three hundred and sixty five days per year. A quick, responsive, well trained service department is essential, and CT Solutions takes pride in the team that we have put together.

Moves, Adds, and Changes

The MAC department is there for response to all of the system changes that occur in business everyday, but are not emergencies. Adding an employee, additional lines, or small configuration changes would fall under this department. Most of the calls to this department are things that can be planned for in advance and be scheduled several days out. Although most MAC work is small, entire system relocations would fall under this department as well. Our response time for moves, adds and changes is a maximum of three days.

Voice and Data Cabling
